If you need copies of closed (2012 and older) DeKalb County Superior Court Civil case, please complete a mail request for copies below. Some older cases may need to be ordered from the warehouse and may require additional time to retrieve.

eCertification Portal - Records Request
The eCertification Online Records Request portal, through the Georgia Clerk's Authority, allows you to order certified copies of documents online, using your debit or credit card.

Certified documents can be accessed via eCertification Portal.
1. Go to eCertification Portal to begin. https://ecert.gsccca.org/
2. Create an account and submit a request.
The Clerk's Office will review your request and if possible, submit your certified documents via the eCertification Portal. If we are unable to submit the documents via the portal, you will receive a rejection reason with additional information.
You will have six (6) days to pay for the documents. If you do not pay for the documents within the six (6) days, your request will be automatically rejected and you will need to resubmit your request.

To obtain copies of an archived DeKalb County Clerk of Superior Court case, first, download and complete the Archive Record Request Form:

A self-addressed stamped envelope.

Certified Copy of Archive copies of Trade Name $2.50
* If the case is before 1990 you will need a money order or Cashier’s Check for $20.00 ($15.00 research fee + $5.00 document certification fee)
All Fees Must Be Paid by Money Order or Cashier’s Check ONLY
