The DeKalb County Clerk of Superior Court's Office will NEVER call you to request or demand payment over the phone.

IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL DEMANDING PAYMENT:

As soon as a caller threatens you, or demands a phone payment by debit card, credit card, gift card, CashApp, Paypal or by any other fast transfer or money wiring, HANG UP. It’s a scam!! Even if the caller ID looks official.

We do not process any payments over the phone.

Scammers are gaining access to public records - outstanding tickets, court fees, and law suits and are presenting real case numbers, and threatening jail for non-payment.

If you have any questions about an actual pending case or outstanding ticket, please contact that government office directly by their official posted contact information.
